You should choose us because we are committed to delivering what you want – vinyl that sounds great and looks amazing without costing a pretty penny. It doesn't have to be a choice between cheap, fast and good.

Our pressing starts at 100 units. Smaller runs are not available; pricing per unit improves with quantity (see our pricing page or ask for a quote).

You can place an order either directly with our customer service or by using our online vinyl configurator which will automatically send us all your needs.

In addition to standard pressing on black vinyl, there are a number of customisation options available to meet your needs and desires.

Customisation of the vinyl record:

• Vinyl colour: Opt for a classic black record or stand out from the crowd with coloured vinyl: red, blue, yellow, transparent, marbled etc. More than 36 colours are available.
• Record weight: Choose the weight of your vinyl, from 140 to 180 grams, for different feel.
• Label: Customise your vinyl label with your logo, colours and information.

Sleeve customisation :

• Sleeve: Choose a standard white sleeve or personalise it with your own colour or design.
• Cardboard sleeve: Choose the type of cardboard, the finish (gloss or matt), the colour and print your sleeve with your visual. We will provide you with templates.
• Protective Sleeve: You can add a protective sleeve to your outer sleeve.
• Booklet: Add a booklet to your sleeve to include photos, lyrics or credits.

Additional options :

• Track mastering: Have your tracks mastered for optimum sound quality on vinyl.
• Time per side: 16 Min is usually considered as an optimal duration time for each side but you can add up to 25 min per side.
• Bar code (EAN): Add a barcode to your sleeve for easy identification.
• Test pressing: Carry out a test pressing to validate the sound and pressing quality before mass production.

A test pressing is a preliminary version of a vinyl record, produced in a limited quantity before the actual production run. Its primary purpose is to check the cut, ensuring that the transfer of the audio material meets the desired result. It allows verification of the track sequence, side allocation, and the exclusion of any damage to the pressing tool before mass production begins.

However, a test pressing does not necessarily reflect the final pressing quality. Since test pressings are produced under different conditions than the main pressing run, the pressing quality may vary. Crackling, slight surface noise, or minor pressing defects may occur; however, these are eliminated during the final pressing under optimal conditions and with careful quality control.

Our entire factory has been engineered with energy-efficient, modern machinery. The steam and cooling systems operate in a closed loop, allowing us to recover and reuse excess steam—significantly reducing energy waste.

We’re proud to run on green electricity, powered by locally sourced biogas from Germany. The PVC we use is based on calcium-zinc stabilizers, avoiding the use of harmful heavy metals typically found in traditional vinyl production.

All of our printed materials follow strict environmental standards:

– FSC-certified Tullis Russell labels

– High-quality 90 GSM inner sleeves

– 300 or 350 GSM cardboard outer sleeves

We also care about the digital footprint. Our website is hosted on servers powered by solar and wind energy. Through our partnership with the CO2 Neutral Website initiative, the emissions from our website and its visitors are offset through certified renewable energy projects and carbon reduction programs.

For packaging, we use Eco+ 50 shrink wrap, made with 40% post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials—sourced directly from household recycling like Germany’s yellow trash system.

Thanks to our in-house granulator machines, we operate with a 0% PVC waste policy. Every bit of vinyl waste is recycled into new records. We even remove labels from mispressed vinyl to recover and reuse the raw PVC.

Lastly, all shipments from our facility are 100% carbon-neutral. We offer eco-friendly packaging options and aim to minimize logistics-related emissions wherever possible.

The production process will commence once you confirm your agreement to the offer we sent and we have received all necessary information from you, including audio files, artwork, and mechanical rights documentation (e.g., from GEMA, SACEM, among others).

In the printing world, bleed is a very important concept that deals with the edges of paper and how it is printed or cut. Bleed is Ink that prints beyond the trim edge of the page to ensure it extends to the edge of the page after trimming. To prevent small white gaps at the edge of your print, it is required that all graphics around the edge of the page extend at least 1/8″ past the cut lines.

If we print your vinyl labels all the way to the edges of your template, they will likely end up appearing slightly cut off in the final product. Understanding bleed margins help prevent this problem by expanding the text or image outside of the designated printed area, resulting in a polished and professional final product.

Every Objects template has guidelines to indicate how much bleed you need to add to your layouts in order to be safe. In order to avoid project delays and cost overruns, only use our supplied templates.

In print there are two main ways in which the colour black is displayed. The simplest is considered ‘true/plain black’, or 100% black ink of CMYK (0C, 0M, 0Y, 100K). On the other hand, you may wish to create your artwork using a mixture of solid black over one or more of the other CMYK colours, resulting in a darker tone than black ink alone – this is referred to as ‘rich black’.

Lossless WAV or AIFF files, 24-bit (recommended), 48 or 96 kHz. Never use MP3s or YouTube/SoundCloud rips as a source. You can supply separate tracks with clear naming (A_01, A_02, B_01…) or one file per side.

It is strongly recommended. Bass, phase, sibilance, dynamics, cutting level, side length and track order all directly shape the cut. A master made for vinyl gives a cleaner, louder record.

Sometimes, but it is not ideal: a very loud, heavily limited or very bright master often has to be cut at a lower level, with a risk of distortion or sibilance. Digital loudness does not transfer to vinyl — a clean, dynamic record beats an over-pushed cut.

16 minutes per side is optimal, 25 minutes is the technical maximum. A long side forces compromises: lower cutting level, reduced bass, tighter stereo width and extra care towards the end of the side.

Yes. The end of a side (near the label) is harder for the stylus to read: place your most demanding tracks (bright, bass-heavy, dense) at the start of a side.

It is the step where your audio is engraved into a lacquer-coated disc — the basis from which the metal parts (stampers) are made. One cut per side.

Electroplating turns the cut into metal parts: the stamper (the matrix that presses your records) and, for larger runs, an intermediate mother from which new stampers can be grown.

With 1-step, the stamper is grown directly from the cut — efficient for smaller runs. With 2-step, a mother is made first, then the stampers: this secures the production and allows re-growing stampers (a stamper wears after roughly 700 presses).

At Objects, 2-step applies from 600 copies.

It is possible in some cases. We first verify the exact type of part, its condition, compatibility and the number of sides — the impact on the quote is confirmed after verification. Electroplating and pressing are always done at Objects.

Not exactly. The TP validates the cut, the transfer, the track order, the sides and the absence of major problems — but it is sometimes pressed under slightly different conditions than the main run. An isolated minor defect on a TP is not necessarily representative.

On a well-set-up turntable: clean stylus, correct tracking force (VTF) and anti-skating, clean record. If you hear a defect, note the side, the minute and the type of defect, check whether the same spot is affected on several copies, and record a short video — it speeds up the diagnosis a lot.

Yes — the test pressing is optional (5 copies with blank white labels). But it is the contractual validation step of your production: with a TP, your approval signs off the cut, the electroplating and the audio rendering of your master. Without a TP, production runs directly from your supplied masters and you assume responsibility for the sonic result attributable to the source and the cut — anything a TP would have revealed can no longer be claimed afterwards (see our Terms, section 5). Genuine manufacturing defects remain covered, of course. We strongly recommend it for any release you care about.

180g feels premium in hand, but weight alone does not guarantee better sound quality — that depends on the master, the cut, the plating, the pressing and quality control.

No — it is first of all an aesthetic choice. Some pigments or effects can show more visual variation or slightly higher surface noise, but there is no automatic hierarchy between black and colour.

No: splatter is a physical effect and the colour distribution is unique on every disc. The mockup shows the visual intention, not a guaranteed identical result. Slight colour variations from pressing to pressing are part of the normal industrial process.

The configurator adjusts it automatically: 3 mm for a 1LP, 5 mm minimum for a 2LP, 7 mm minimum from 3LP, 6 mm for gatefolds. Always use the matching Objects templates.

Yes, but these formats fall outside the configurator's standard calculation: they require manual validation and a quote from our sales team ([email protected]).

As a rule of thumb, a standard production takes about 8 weeks from a confirmed order with complete, approved files — covering cutting, electroplating, test pressing, approval, pressing and packaging. Complex options and busy periods can extend this. Your quote and order confirmation state the timeline for your exact configuration; timelines are estimates, not firm commitments.

You receive an email at every key stage: order confirmation, file upload requests and checks, softproofs, test pressing shipment with tracking, and final shipment with tracking. Check your spam folder if something seems missing. For anything in between, write to [email protected] with your order reference.

Yes — write to [email protected] with your original order reference or catalogue number. We check whether your existing metalwork (stampers) can be reused: if so, no new cut is needed and the repress is faster. Pricing depends on quantity and configuration.

The timelines we communicate are estimates (see our Terms), not firm commitments: files, artwork, rights, cutting, plating, test pressing, approval, pressing and packaging all need to be validated. For a critical deadline, talk to our sales team early — we can aim for a window and prioritise when possible.

The customer (see our Terms): mix, master, track order, spacing, levels and file correctness remain your responsibility. We advise and check certain technical points, then press what has been approved.

Yes, if your project is subject to them: mechanical rights (GEMA, SACEM or the equivalent in your country) must be cleared before production starts.
